Holiday Bazaar & Resource Fair

2:00
PM
The holidays can be a wonderful time of year, but for many families and autistic individuals, finding meaningful gifts, discovering helpful resources and navigating the season can also feel overwhelming. That’s why we bring our community together each year for the Holiday Bazaar & Resource Fair.
The day is designed with autistic individuals and their families at its heart: a welcoming, inclusive space with service providers, community resources, local makers and organizations from across southeastern Massachusetts.
Come to discover local resources and supports, shop for unique, locally made gifts, find ideas for meaningful gifts for autistic family members and the caregivers in your life, and meet other families in the autism community. Every visit also supports CAR’s programs and services.
Meet the Grinch from 10 AM to 2 PM, and try your luck at our raffles and door prizes.
Getting there: We’re in Governor Rooms 1 & 2. Please park in the back lot and come in through the back conference door; the hotel’s front doors are not open for events. Outside food and drinks aren’t permitted in the conference center.
Questions? Contact Crystal Medeiros, Director of Development & Family Support Staff, at cmedeiros@communityautism.org or 508-379-0371 ext. 22.

Afterward, stop by the adjoining room for our Holiday Bazaar & Resource Fair, where you can visit local resources and makers, take your picture with the Grinch and buy tickets at our raffle tables. Admission to the bazaar is free and open to the public.
Getting there: Please park in the back lot and enter through the back conference door; the hotel’s front doors are not open to the public.

“YOU’RE ALWAYS GOING TO BE A NORMAL PERSON.”
Homer plays guitar. Last spring he played a set at Autism Rocks The South Shore. His family first called CAR when he was diagnosed, and came back ten years later for the open mic. Five minutes, in his own words, including what he’d tell someone just starting out.
